At the top of the work, a soldier (or an explorer) shoots three little children. Assemblage of smoke and parts of a building, as if it was an explosion. One can see the busts of Goethe and Schiller.

En haut se trouve un soldat (ou un explorateur) qui tire sur trois petits enfants. Assemblage de fumée et de morceaux d'un bâtiment, comme s'il s'agissait d'une explosion. On distingue le buste de Goethe et celui de Schiller.
